On graduating from university, Tess started her career within the insurance world. After the birth of her 2 sons she started a garden landscaping company to accommodate the needs of her young family. In 2000 the decision was made to call New Zealand home. During this time Tess owned a coffee shop, taught Business Studies to international students and entered the world of vocational rehabilitation. She has extensive experience in the development and implementation of vocational rehabilitation programmes, and soon discovered that injury management and safety within the work place are her passion.
Tess is a qualified and experienced Vocational Rehabilitation Consultant and Workers Compensation Case Manager. Her most recent experience was as Case Manager at a global insurance company, where she was responsible for the injury management of complex claims. She is resourceful and driven to achieve positive outcomes for all stakeholders, and succeed in a team environment.
She has now adopted WA as her home and loves the climate and outdoor life it has on offer. Cheering for a rugby team?....best of all worlds as always on the winner’s side whether it is Wallaby, Springbok or Kiwi!
Theresa is a passionate traveller, loves people and enjoys dealing with people from different cultural settings. Her moto is good coffee… good food…. and a good Pinot Noir. The Camino de Santiago Walk is on her bucket list.
